vPOST also sends you an email when your package arrives in the destination country. track speed post

HopShopGo , 27 Nov 13 Hop Shop Go , 27 Feb 13 I just used vPOST, so I did my best to compare track speed post it with HSG. I estimated HSG's charges based on my measurements, and got a surprising result. So I had 3 packages, track speed post with weights 3.2, 0.5 and 0.6 kg (actual or volumetric doesn't matter, whichever is higher). Firstly, HSG would have rounded them up to 3.5, 0.5 and 1 kg.
I tried to describe the charges, but here's another track speed post explanation. HSG would have charged for 5 kg. That's a first 500g + 9 more 500g. So that's 11 + 9x2.85 (all in USD), which is 36.65. Subtract 10% PayPal discount and add 10% fuel surcharge (they cancel out), and 0.65% of the value + shipping for insurance, which is roughly USD1.46. The total is USD38.11, or SGD48.40 . vPOST charges a base charge of SGD13.40, which doesn't track speed post include any weight. So I have 4.3 kg, which is 43x100g. track speed post For each 100g, weight is $0.72 and fuel is $0.19, so the weight and fuel charges are $30.96 and $8.17 respectively. The total is SGD52.53 . WHAT? vPOST costs MORE than HSG?! I used vPOST because I had a $20 discount (not reflected above), so I only paid $32.53, track speed post but, if not for the discount, vPOST is MORE EXPENSIVE? What's the point of using vPOST then? Here are some additional considerations: INSURANCE HSG includes insurance in the price. For vPOST you have to buy insurance, at about $9.90 per package. That's ridiculously track speed post high. TRACKING track speed post
Now, THIS is tracking. vPOST's shipping is so bad, they don't even give an expected delivery date! NOTIFICATIONS/INVOICING I will hand it to vPOST for good notifications. You can log in and see a detailed, itemised invoice. For HSG, you can only see the cost breakdown just before you pay. Once you pay, you can only see the total costs like this:
vPOST also sends you an email when your package arrives in the destination country. track speed post DELIVERY track speed post I think this is the only area that vPOST really wins, and that is the POPStation. They deliver your packages into a self-service locker and email/SMS you the password. This is great if you don't have anyone to receive the packages at home, and cannot deliver them to your workplace. However, it's only useful if you have a station nearby. HSG, on the other hand, uses DHL/FedEx, which means they're more likely to deliver it to you personally. There are many stories of SingPost's "ninja" postmen that manage to deliver a failed delivery notice without being seen or heard. SECURITY I have to add this section because comGateway, HSG's parent company, recently leaked credit card info, affecting almost 100,000 cards from several countries (see 27 Nov post above). So minus a point for HSG. ADDITIONAL SERVICE A strong point for HSG . I don't know how vPOST will fare in this, but I suspect not as well. My last order included some dried food, which apparently doesn't clear customs easily. Tracking was saying it was delayed and to call them, so I did. They said customs wanted a list of ingredients for the food, and they were handling it (I can't remember if it was HSG or FedEx). Final outcome was, I didn't have to do anything, just wait a few days, and they handled everything. Verdict I can only recommend vPOST on these conditions: You have a discount, at least 20% You can make use of POPStation. I WOULD NOT use vPOST if not for POPStation Your item is cheap and does not require insurance

Buying electronic goods and computer hardware directly from Best Buy and Newegg is something most of us would love to do, thanks to the current economic situation. And with comGateway teaming usps first class mail international up with PayPal to provide a more convenient method of shopping online via the new HopShopGo concierge service, there is probably no reason not to do so anymore. usps first class mail international
Let’s face it: it is tough to be a computer enthusiast in Singapore. Not only does Sim Lim Square have a fairly limited variety of hardware and components for us to play with, the prices offered by the local resellers are usually nowhere near as competitive as those offered in the US markets.
As such, it is not uncommon to see posts in computer forums seeking feedback or instructions on how to ship in the latest processor, graphics cards or consumer electronic devices directly from the US. However, unlike most popular concierge services, the new HopShopGo service will make such shopping even more convenient by allowing one to pay for such purchases with PayPal.
Speaking at a hands-on session to showcase usps first class mail international HopShopGo s capabilities was PayPal Head of PR and Corporate Communications APAC Dickson Seow, who explained how the new service will make it easier for users who wish to purchase items from US-based merchants.
“Six usps first class mail international out of every 10 transactions for Singaporeans using PayPal is to buy stuff from the US. So it is the number one online shopping destination for Singaporeans. They want to buy from the US. That is one of the reasons we decided to work with comGateway to launch this shopping site that has US merchants on it, he said.
Also present at the session was Wee Yirong, Business Development Director for comGateway, usps first class mail international who proceeded to demonstrate how online shoppers could make use of a PayPal account to purchase and ship items over from US merchants with HopShopGo.
The portal offers two main services for users to choose from: BuyForMe and ShipForMe. BuyForMe is used when US merchants explicitly state that neither PayPal nor non US-issued credit cards will be accepted. In this case, HopShopGo will purchase the item on the user s behalf and ship it over to Singapore at a fee, as shown in the example where HopShopGo usps first class mail international is used to make a purchase from Newegg.com:
In the event that the online merchant accepts PayPal but is unable to ship the product usps first class mail international out of the US, the ShipForMe method is also available. This option will provide users with a US-based address which they can use for checking out purposes. The merchant will then deliver the package over to the HopShopGo warehouse, where it is prepared usps first class mail international for shipment to Singapore.

HopShopGo – From our House, to Yours
I’m constantly finding things I need to have, but can’t get here in the States. For instance, the company that makes Spain’s Atkinson Cologne for men won’t ship to the U.S. The oh-so-tasty Bovril beefy paste… can’t get it here. How to shop via HopShopGo | The Pink Stilettos
I have been getting SO many questions about how to use HopShopGo service, so I’m gonna show the step-by-step guide here with the screenshots of my actual orders (please click on the pictures for larger view).
For those who don’t know what HopShopGo is, it’s basically a parcel forwarding service that enables you to shop at any online U.S stores even if the online merchant doesn’t accept your payment method, or if the website doesn’t ship internationally. It’s kind of like a middleman between you and online U.S stores.
You posttakster can either make the purchase posttakster yourself and ship it to your U.S address that is provided by HopShopGo, who will then forward the package to you, OR you can ask HopShopGo to make the purchase on your behalf which will then be shipped to your U.S address before they forward the package to you. Do note that you will have to bear the shipping costs from the online U.S store to HopShopGo address AND from HopShopGo to you. There’s also a small fee for BuyForMe service, which will be explained later on.
I have been using HopShopGo since August 2010 and have placed more than 50 orders so far and never had any problems with my orders. Their customer service is excellent! I love that they have Live Chat service (you can find it at the bottom of the page ) so whenever I am unsure about my order or something, I can ask them directly and get my answers straight away!
Ok, posttakster so first things first. You need a Paypal account to use HopShopGo. If you don’t have a credit card, not to worry. In fact, you don’t have to use credit card for online purchases if you don’t want to. You can link your bank account or debit card to your Paypal account (refer to this blog post of mine on how to register your debit card on Paypal ). Paypal is actually a safer way to shop online because you don’t expose your bank account/debit/credit card information to online merchants.
Most online U.S stores don’t accept debit/credit cards that are not issued in U.S, especially for websites that don’t offer international shipping, so this is when you opt for BuyForMe service.
Type in the address of the online U.S store that you wish to shop in the Start shopping at field and click on the Go button. The main site for the online store will be shown in a new window. Now back on the HopShopGo page, click on BuyForMe Concierge Service at the top bar. Another window will pop up to display your order form.
HopShopGo order form on the left, online store on the right. Here’s a tip: it’s always easier to browse around the online posttakster store and add items to cart first before placing your order with HopShopGo. Once you’re finished, you can click on your shopping cart/bag which will display all of the items that you want to purchase and start filling in the details of each item in the order form window (left). Make sure you enter all the required details posttakster correctly or you can just copy-paste from the online store’s shopping bag/cart. If there is a promo code on the online store that you would like to use (eg: discount/free shipping promo code), simply type it in the Special Instructions (optional) field. As you can see, I typed in “Promo code: SHIPR” which is the promo code for free shipping on dsw.com. Then click Add to Order . You will be given 2 options - Add Another Item (if you have more than 1 item to purchase) and Checkout (when you have finished filling in the details of all your items).
Once you clicked the Checkout button, the page will display posttakster the summary of your order. If you want to purchase more items, posttakster click on Add more items at the top right of the page and it will display your order form again. If you would like to delete an item at checkout, simply change the number in the box under Quantity to 0. The page will be refreshed and the total price will be updated automatically. There is also a 10% service charge (7% for Prime Rewards members) for this which is reflected posttakster in the total amount. Do note that the total amount is not including the shipping cost (you will be billed later, if any). There are also a few options at the bottom posttakster of the page for Special instruction if an item is out of stock and U.S. Domestic Shipping posttakster Option (do check with the online U.S store that you want to purchase from for the exact shipping posttakster cost). Select the ones you want. Click Checkout with Paypal to proceed with payment.
You will be taken back to HopShopGo page which will display your order reference number (do not close or click on anything while your payment is being processed until you get to this page). You can check the details of your order on your HopShopGo account by clicking on Go to My Account . All of your current orders are listed on Current Order in My Account (on the left side of the page) for your easy reference.

MAC haul (from MAC.com, via Hop Shop Go. read about my last experience with Hop Shop Go here ) This

MAC haul (from MAC.com, via Hop Shop Go. read about my last experience with Hop Shop Go here ) This post is a little overdue, but recently I had the urge to try out MAC lipsticks because of all the rave reviews over them. The only brands I've ever tried before are: Rimmel, Ulta and a Korean brand called aeropost Missha. These are all pretty inexpensive, ranging from $2 (Ulta lol) to about $12. Keen to make my first foray into higher end makeup, I realised that actually elsewhere around the world, MAC isn't considered 'high end'. It only seemed the case because Australia grossly inflates the price of MAC products! For these lipsticks, Australian beauty counters sell them for $36 a pop, whereas in the US you'll find them in Sephora for only $15. That's like x2.5 the price! MAC USA doesn't ship to Australia obviously, so I decided to see if I could use Hop Shop Go to get the lipsticks for cheaper. I wanted aeropost to get the products at their usual $15 per piece shipped to the US (using my US address), and then get Hop Shop Go to ship it to my Australian address. Would $15 (US price) aeropost + international shipping from the US to Australia, be less than $36 (Aus price)? ie would buying MAC cosmetics in this roundabout way from overseas, be cheaper than directly purchasing it off the local counters? Well it certainly was lol! I bought 4 MAC products from their US website: 1 x MAC Prep and Prime Lip primer ($16) 1 x MAC Rebel lipstick ($15) 1 x MAC Ruby Woo lipstick ($15) 1 x MAC Please Me lipstick ($15) these 4 products were shipped with free US shipping to my address in Oregon, USA. I also bought 11 things from Forever 21, of which most was my sister's stuff so I haven't shown it. this Forever 21 package was also shipped with free US shipping to Oregon, USA. So then to calculate the savings I made for a MAC lipstick using Hop Shop Go, it's not really accurate to take the total shipping I was charged and then divide it between the products because the Forever 21 package added extra weight and contributed to higher shipping fees in the end. Nonetheless aeropost even if I included the Forever21 package, I still ended up making savings on the MAC products: With the two packages, chargeable weight was 3kg, and the total amount paid to Hop Shop Go for shipping to Australia aeropost ($37.80), fuel ($5.04), aeropost and insurance costs ($1.91) = $ 44.75. Taking into account the Forever 21 order as well, the MAC lipsticks incurred about 44.75/4 for shipping = $11.2. This makes each lipstick about $26.20 each! And if I made a rough calculation of how much shipping would be on each lipstick if the lipsticks were the only things I purchased (using the HSG shipping calculator), then I would make even more savings: The Forever21 order was about 2kg, and the MAC order was 1kg (yes it was only 4 cosmetic items...but it came in a box and they rounded the weight upwards). The Hop Shop Go shipping calculator estimates 1kg to be about $28 for shipping minus the fuel and insurance costs, which we'll say is about $4.50 =   $32.50. so then taking into account aeropost only the MAC haul, the MAC lipsticks would incur about 32.50/4 for shipping = $8.10. That makes each lipstick about $23.10 each! So with either calculation, I still made savings of $10-$13 on each lipstick which is being sold over the local counters for $36. Although it's not an amazingly high saving, I still think it's worth it if you're planning on buying 3 or more products. I bought 4 an d altogether that saved me $40-$52. The savings would be even greater if Hop Shop Go had cheaper shipping fees or lowered their insurance and fuel costs though. On my blog I've only ever talked about HSG but I've been meaning to try out another service I've heard of called FastShip2U. I'm planning to do another overseas haul with them soon so I can compare :) (oh and don't go too crazy on using HSG to save yourself money on overpriced cosmetics,  here  is a list of prohibited items ! Includes aerosols (eg hairsprays), flammable products (eg nail polish)) now on to reviewing the actual products!
Since a lot of people might be worried about how cosmetics are packaged and handled from overseas, I took a picture of the packaging of the lipsticks. It came in a box, which was about tissue box-sized. Underneath a bunch of black tissue paper, there were the 4 cosmetic items. There was no bubble wrap but it's alright since the lipsticks were individually boxed and weren't like glass nail polish bottles or anything, and honestly the cardboard box itself is enough to protect the whole package during transit. I'd be more worried about nail polish bottles and eyeshadow palettes if it didn't have this minimum level of packaging!
This product filled in lip wrinkles quite nicely, and when I put the lipsticks over it the application was really smooth. It prevents lip feathering (when the lipstick runs into the creases around your lips over time) so that nice and sharp outline around your lips remains intact.
It a

This is another blog post featuring a collective haul I made recently! :) I made orders from Love Cu

This is another blog post featuring a collective haul I made recently! :) I made orders from Love Culture, Forever 21, Valleygirl, Glassons and Chicabooti. I also made a Youtube video of this collective haul, where I talked about and modelled all the pieces from the haul as well. You can find screenshots down below. Forever 21 and Love Culture (via HopShopGo) If you've read my blog posts on it before, I've regularly used HopShopGo to help me make purchases from US-based online stores that don't ship to/have very pricey shipping to Australia. HopShopGo is basically a mail forwarding service, that creates a US address for you so that you get things shipped within the US. Then, HopShopGo will arrange the international shipping from the US to Australia for you. Even though you have to pay to HopShopGo various service fees (even fuel surcharge, and insurance), + international shipping from the US address to your home address, I've still found it cheaper than actually getting stuff shipped from particular online-based israel post US stores directly.  You can read a more detailed review of my HopShopGo experience here . All my previous orders are here , here , here . Love Culture don't ship to Australia, and (as I've always blabbed on about) Forever 21 international shipping is really expensive, so I used HopShopGo for those two particular orders. My LoveCulture order was about $77 (free domestic shipping for orders over $50) Forever 21 order was about $68 (free domestic shipping for orders over $50) I also made a third order from Amazon.com for my little sister (about $30 for a stuffed cat!) so it was about 3kgs altogether for those 3 packages. HopShopGo charged me: International shipping of $37.80 fuel surchage of $3.36 Mandatory insurance of $1.34 repackage fee of $3.00 This was the first time HopShopGo gave me a repackage option, which I was really pleased about. The repackage option can be really nifty, and only comes up if HopShopGo thinks that they can discard israel post some unnecessary packaging in a way that helps you save on shipping fees in the end. It came up as an option for me this time, and it told me that choosing this repackaging option would help me save about $14.40. Of course israel post I selected it! :) I still had to pay a repackage fee of $3.00 though which I think is a bit silly, because it's like you having israel post to pay to save, but oh well... I received everything about a week, from the date of shipment. Love the fast express shipping!
size: s I'm absolutely israel post in love with this blouse! I just fell in love with the really rich, fuchsia colour israel post and for some reason it shows up as more of a warm red in the video, but it's actually more of a cool red/purple in real life. you can roll the sleeves up to wherever you want. It's unbelievable it was even less than 20, because the colour's just so amazing, material is so smooth and soft, and it looks much more expensive that this.
I've been looking all over for a really cute white or cream coloured bustier! I just keep finding ones that look too much like lingerie or they're more like bralets, so they're realllyyy short. This one is great because it's actually more mid-length for a bustier, and it's got adjustable straps so you can even pull it down a bit over your stomach. Such a great buy at only $22. I'll be pairing this together with so many outfits, especially for the spring coming up! :)
I really, really gravitate towards high-waisted denim shorts; I just think that they are an absolute summer staple. I love the distressed design on the front and the frayed israel post hem on the bottom. The design is also pretty interesting with the blue splodges! Definitely a welcome addition to my denim cutoff collection :)
This was an impulse buy, because I'm all over Aztec printed anything these days, but everything I've seen is always in black and white! So when I saw this neon Aztec printed cardigan I thought it looked realy funky, so I got it. Totally adore the geometric shapes, kinda reminds me of a retro arcade game, or something (I don't know, I never played arcade games lol).
This is just a really israel post cute, basic knit jumper. It's actually been quite the mission to find a simple sweater that is actually fitted, not too long and not too chunky! So I'm really happy I found these, at such a bargain and at exactly what I wanted. It's also cut longer at the back.
I got this because I thought it was just so cute and quirky! I thought 4.80 was such a good price for a cute necklace like this, but unfortunately as soon as I put it around my neck, it fell apart. The links on the chain are really tiny so I simply israel post couldn't reconnect it to the bicycle israel post pendant. I will probably need to replace the chain which is quite annoying and silly...that will probably cost me almost as much as the necklace itself! Has anyone else had Forever 21 jewellery fall apart for them? I've bought heaps of cheap jewellery before in my li

Earlier post Hop Shop Go is a parcel forwarding/shopping service. You buy stuff online, have it delivered to their address (with your unique line so they know who it belongs to), and they send it to whichever country you're in. This lets you buy from shops that don't ship overseas, and it's cheaper than most shops that DO ship overseas. Also, things are about half the price on Amazon! This is the second time I'm using them. There are reviews out there saying good and bad things about them, and I'm not sure if the reviews are reliable. I just want to say they're ok so far. I haven't needed to contact them, so I don't know how prompt their service is. If things go well, I don't think I'll ever contact them. I just wish they could do something about the volumetric weight ups france (they can repack, but that costs USD$7, which is more than 1 kg of shipping cost, they only offer it if it reduces the volumetric weight by > 2 kg. How do they know how much they can reduce by? Hmm). Most of my items' cost comes from the volumetric weight. Maybe only round up to the nearest 0.5 kg for the whole shipment, or round up to less than 0.5 kg. I saw that another site doesn't physically consolidate your packages (i.e. combine packages). HSG says they repack, so I don't think they physically consolidate either. Maybe it's a liability. The good thing is HSG DOES seem to be the cheapest. Searching for "us forwarding service" and having a look around, I found that other companies are all more expensive, some so much more that I wonder if I'm looking at the wrong service. e.g. bongous ups france charges $21.75 for the first lb (0.45 kg) and at most $8 for each lb after (it diminishes), HSG only charges $11 for the first 0.5 kg and $2.85 for subsequent 0.5 kg! And a lot of those sites require registration and monthly fees! Update 28 Aug 13 Ok I had a problem, and at the same time an opportunity to test HSG's service. I think a true test of a company's service is how they handle problems. What happened was a merchant said a package was delivered, but it wasn't showing up on my HSG account. So I had a live chat with HSG. Chat times are same as local working hours No wait to chat With the package's tracking number, they were able to locate it within a few minutes. What happened was the merchant failed to put the C/O line on the package, so HSG didn't know whose it was. Looks like the merchant's fault. Within a few minutes, I got an email saying I had a new package, like the emails I always get. So, I'm very happy with HSG's service. It was fast and effective.

Tempting online stores with “we only ship to the continental US” clauses fex are a perennially annoying fact of life. HopShopGo is the latest site to offer shipping to Australian addresses from a range of US stores, selling fex itself on the ability to pay via PayPal.
The back-end technology for HopShopGo is provided by comGateway, which we’ve previously featured in its own right as a solution to the US-only shopping dilemma. One big issue with comGateway was the relatively high shipping charges, which have reduced a little since we featured the site but still start at a minimum of $US24. Exactly the same rates apply at HopShopGo, though there’s a 10 per cent discount for using PayPal, which slightly eases the pain.

Forever 21 is a clothing chain store that is really popular in the US and Canada, and seems to marke

Hop Shop Go experience I made a few orders from Forever 21 and Amazon recently, using a shipping dhlforyou service called Hop Shop Go . I used this service because international dhlforyou shipping rates from Forever 21 are quite steep normally, and the items I ordered from Amazon were not available for shipment outside the US. Therefore, I signed up to Hop Shop Go for free and decided to use their service to provide me with a US address dhlforyou I could get packages delivered to, and then have HSG deliver everything to me in my home in Australia.  I placed an order on Forever dhlforyou 21 and got free domestic dhlforyou shipping for my order worth $62, as you get free shipping for orders over $50 within the US. For international orders this order worth $62 would've cost $48 for shipping. In the billing address I put in my normal address in Australia, dhlforyou and for the shipping address I logged into Hop Shop Go to find my US address. It was some place in Oregon and I just put that in. After the order was processed, and shipped from Forever 21 to the address in Oregon, I received dhlforyou a notification email from Hop Shop Go saying my order had arrived. The email also said at the bottom "We provide free storage for your package in the U.S. up to 30 days." This is not entirely true, as if you go to this page here  you only get 15 days of free storage, and only Hop Shop Go Prime rewards members get 30 free storage days. You won't become a Prime member if this is your first shipment using HSG's services, so I really only got 15 free storage days. I actually overlooked the fact that storage fees existed at all  and ended up paying $62.15 to Hop Shop Go because of the storage fees included. This sucked, as this meant I paid more than if I had simply ordered from Forever 21 directly and paid $48 for international shipping. Nonetheless, this mistake of mine makes for a really good lesson to myself in the future and to any readers of my blog who might be interested in using Hop Shop Go. The broader lesson dhlforyou is to read the fine print and to log into your account, to check if there were any unexpected fees added on . In this case, I found out you only get 15 free storage day s and according to that page here , you cop $1 storage fee per extra day past those 15 days. My initial plan was to consolidate several different packages together and then ship them out all at once, to save on shipping fees. However as the storage fees had become quite high already ($33) and would only be creeping up more and more with each day, I decided to ship this package out first. I then received this shipping confirmation email. Below are also the additional costs Hop Shop Go charged.
$0.59 This means that had I not incurred the storage fees, and if I had shipped this package out by itself, using Hop Shop Go's service is still cheaper than international shipping directly from Forever 21: Forever 21 would've charged $48 for international shipping to Australia, and Hop Shop Go would've charged me $29.15. This is a saving of $18.85. Despite the inclusion of fuel surcharges and mandatory insurance, it was still cheaper to use Hop Shop Go. The shipping from Hop Shop Go was also very fast. That shipping notification email was sent on the 22nd of July and I received the package on the 26th. Would I use Hop Shop Go again? I like how HSG provides notification emails for when your package arrives at the US address dhlforyou they provide you. When you log into your account at HSG, you can easily dhlforyou see how many storage days you have left, how much in storage fees you have incurred, and the invoices for each package. (I obviously did not log into HSG very often at all so I totally missed seeing all those unexpected storage fees.) If you however remember to log in regularly or simply never leave your packages over the 15 day storage limit however, HSG is actually a very useful service . Some places dhlforyou impose such ridiculously high international shipping fees, and some places might not even ship to your country at all. With HSG you can access all those items you need and often at a lower shipping rate. So for those situations, then yes I would use HSG again .
Forever 21 is a clothing chain store that is really popular in the US and Canada, and seems to market itself towards dhlforyou teens and young women looking for the latest trends at very affordable prices. No physical stores have opened up in Australia, but international shipping is available on the Forever 21 website. However in the past few years I think the shipping fees have become dhlforyou quite unreasonable, by increasing with the more you purchase. Before that, there was a cap where above this amount, international shipping dhlforyou would be free. Now it seems there is no longer that incentive to add more to your cart. This is why I resorted to Hop Shop Go to cut down those shipping fees.
For those of my readers who haven't been able to physically walk into a Forever 21 and check the stock out themselves, I've done a little review of the stuff I ordered. I know a

Thank you for clarifying this, I was planning on making one last order for the year this Thursday, l

Thank you for clarifying this, I was planning on making one last order for the year this Thursday, looks like I can't now :( This really myposte does annoy me too, products myposte are way too pricey here plus we don't get half the brands myposte they get in the US and this was really the best opportunity to get them. Plus I just got a $15 gift voucher too which I was planning to use. Reply Delete
Aww that really sucks, I was thinking of using a parcel forwarding service as well (that ships to the UK) but if Sephora myposte are tackling this issue then I guess there's no point :( Might as well just wait til I know someone that goes to the US. Reply Delete
hmm try priceusa? I've used them before and they're within a tax-free state. You can also get a quote from their page and shipping and fees are REALLY reasonable (they buy for you). Maybe that'll myposte help? Reply Delete
I've been using Hop Shop Go's BuyForMe service with Sephora and it's worked out alright (I didn't myposte know they accepted international credit cards!) That being said when some stuff I ordered was out of stock it took a month (yes a month!) to get the payment cancelled, even through PayPal. So honestly I don't think I'll be using them again. Ulta refused myposte an order I tried to do through BuyForMe stating they didn't ship their products internationally. I was trying to buy L'Oreal liners not available here. I'm still waiting for that refund. myposte More brands need to be accessible here, prices need to be lowered too, maybe US stores like Sephora might actually ship to us then. It's taken the fun out of it for me too! I've pre-ordered Naked 3 through HQ Hair, I think it's out of stock at the moment. Not shipping until Dec 21. The price wasn't too bad, they have discount codes for Christmas. Reply Delete
It was a bit of an experiment for me, I entered my card details myposte and it accepted it, so away we go (or went)! :) I think the whole Buy For Me thing sounds a bit painful, sigh. Such a shame that we can't get access to Ulta, but I know they banned parcel forwarding addresses a while ago. Sigh. Any luck sourcing the liners from eBay? Oh yes, I forgot to look at HQ Hair! I'm off to KL next week so might see if there are any palettes left in stock by the time I get there (it releases tomorrow). If not, I will see if I can order from any of the usual suspects. Delete
Eeek is it a reply worth sharing? Im from NZ and have had no issues until just now where I forgot to change my address (my freightforwarding company had moved) and they shipped and completed the order untill it was returned - then they refused myposte to update the address and refunded the order. So silly. Delete
It's nice to read other people offering solutions here, but frankly it's just not good enough for Sephora to do this! I'll myposte certainly be letting them know what I think! Urban Decay, Too Faced, Tarte etc are not THEIR products - they just stock them, therefore they should myposte not have a say whether or not we have access to them, and while we could still buy them directly from the brands website, why should we have to? Same goes for Ulta as Tara aboved me mentioned, why should they deny us L'Oreal?! We're myposte paying customers not doing anything wrong, myposte paying a butt load to actually get their products, they should be thankful, not punishing us. It's so disappointing. Thanks for writing this up, I hope all us beauty myposte lovers let Sephora know exactly what we think... xx Reply Delete
I couldn't agree more, Jasmine. Very odd decision for Sephora to come to. I think it would be great to share your opinion with them, I certainly have! It's all a bit bizarre! I'd love to hear what the rationale is but sadly, no one seems to be making an official statement. Delete
Wow that really is pretty sad of Sephora to be doing this! I would think that they would like international customers (any customers are good customers myposte aren't myposte they?). Here I thought there was finally a way to buy international products easily, and it's been taken away! :( I am currently based in France and being here has made me realise just how overpriced international products are when they are sold in Australia. Really, we are paying such exhorbitant prices (everything myposte from Topshop to Zara to Benefit just to name a few) that it really makes sense that we are all trying to look for other pays to be able to pay more reasonable prices... I am all for supporting the economy of course, but sometimes it is made very difficult (and expensive) for us to do that! I hope you find another way to purchase from the US miss N, and let us know when you find it! Reply Delete
Very true, Lou, but who knows what's behind their decision! I was just getting myposte used to parcel forwarding when they had to stop it, lol...so I feel your frustration! myposte And yes, Europe is SO much cheaper than what we pay here, sigh. I had a ball when I was there! I

was the weight they quoted you the actual weight of your items? i want to order some things from Ult

Hi beauties, ups freight tracking As promised I am finally getting around to reviewing HOP SHOP GO! If you are interested in being able to online shop in USA then please do keep reading!! What is Hop Shop Go?...  As you will see on the website (linked above), HSG is a mail forwarding service from USA making it easier for people in other counties shop from USA stores. How it works... Once you sign up for Hop Shop Go (through your PayPal account) you will be allocated a code and address in the Hop Shop Go warehouse ups freight tracking in Portland, Oregon. To shop you have the option to go to a stores website direct and ship your goods to the warehouse address that you were provided with or for websites that do not accept Australian credit cards (which lets be honest is most of them) you can order through Hop Shop Go and they will purchase for you and charge your PayPal account. The great thing about the address being in Portland, Oregon - there is no tax added at checkout! Woo hoo! Once your goods have arrived at the warehouse your account will be update ups freight tracking showing what has arrived and is currently in your HSG storage (shown ups freight tracking below in 'Image 1'). You then have up to 30 days storage in case you want to make other orders from other stores and forward them all to yourself together. Make sure you keen an eye on how many free storage days you have left (show in Image 1) as you don't want to end up with storage ups freight tracking fees. The next step is to forward your goods to your home (or postal) ups freight tracking address in Australia (or whatever country you are in) and pay for the postage. The downside is, you don't know how much the postage is going to be until your goods have arrived at HSG and you forward them. The cost is all by weight ups freight tracking unless you use 'Live Quote' where you enter the URL for the product at the store you want to buy it from, enter the quantity and where it is shipping to. If 'Live Quote' is online then you will get a quote straight away, if not you will have to wait. You can the purchase a guarantee for your shipping to be that amount and no more (even if the package is heavier than the estimated). From the quotes I have done I think the costing is roughly this to Brisbane, Australia: It is always rounded to the nearest 500g First 500g - 24 Up to 1kg - 28 Up to 1.5kg - 32 So basically it is $24 for the first 500g and then $4 per extra 500g. I only worked this out through doing live quotes for items in the weigh ranges so this is only a rough guide! This also does not include compulsory fuel charges and insurance charges (shown in Image 3). But they do offer a 10% discount for PayPal users (also shown in Image 3).  My experience:... I placed the following orders myself direct through ups freight tracking each brands USA website. Shopping date: 12 November 2013 Date arrived ups freight tracking at HSG: 19 & 22 November 2013 Date I shipped to Aus: 22 November 2013 Date received in Aus: 28 November 2013 Image 1 - Packages arrived at HSG ready to be forwarded Image 2 Image 3 OTHER:... One thing that is disappointing about  HSG is that you cannot order direct from Sephora site as Sephora will not ship to that address as it is not unique. BUT you can order from Sephora through the HSG site. But they use their own Sephora ups freight tracking account, not your own. This was frustrating ups freight tracking for me as I had a $15 Sephora voucher ups freight tracking that I wanted to use to get the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette but I couldn't use the voucher if I went through HSG because it was on my account! It also means if you have a beauty insider account you won't get your points! But hey - sometimes we can't have it all!! You should also note that they do not ship nail polish's, perfume or any other alcohol based liquids - which is a bit annoying! :( HSG also has an iPhone app which is pretty cool to be able to shop, ship and track on the go! Overall I am REALLY happy with HOP SHOP GO and will use them to forward mail to Australia again! Shopping it so much cheaper overseas and if I do a few orders at once I will still end up saving a lot more than what it would have cost in Australia. ups freight tracking If you have any other questions about my HSG experience ups freight tracking please leave a comment. Also if you have used HSG or any other mail forwarding services, please let me know your experience! Until next time,
was the weight they quoted you the actual weight of your items? i want to order some things from Ulta but i am worried about the numerous negative reviews about ridiculously overpriced shipping. Reply Delete

It's apc overnight also wise to make bulk orders to get delivered to the US address. You know how so

It's time to bypass unfairly high shipping fees to Australia again, with another apc overnight bulk order using HopShopGo apc overnight ! You can read experience #1 with HSG in this blog post here . In hindsight I don't think that post was very well written so here is a summary of what HSG is all about:
When you register on HSG they will give you a US-based address . You copy that address into the delivery address fields when buying something from an online store. When that package gets delivered to the US address, HSG will notify you via email, or you can check your HSG account. You can then ship the package out whenever apc overnight you want, to your own home address elsewhere. (but there is a limit on how many days you can keep it there, otherwise you start accumulating storage fees!)
It's apc overnight also wise to make bulk orders to get delivered to the US address. You know how sometimes packages have like a huge box with a bunch of padding and air around a tiny item? HopShopGo can consolidate all your packages together to reduce shipping fees. However that consolidation option isn't guaranteed, and it won't be available when they think the savings aren't worth it.
Forever 21 actually has a store not just in the US, but has also opened in the UK and elsewhere in Europe. You can find out more  here ! Onto the hauls- I actually made two. Most of the stuff was my little sister's, which I haven't featured in this blog post. (so when you see that the total cost of the F21 hauls was about $272 don't be alarmed lol!) The other stuff is all mine and which I'll go on to review!
"I love drummers" baseball tee  $17.80 Small ( link ) I'll start with my favourite! I bought this just for fun because my boyfriend plays the drums :)  the material is incredibly soft and I’ll probably wear it to lounge around in. The only thing is that the top seems to have been made for people for narrow shoulders only, and you can see how underneath my armpits it's rather tight there. Oh well, it’s a tee I just got for fun and for the message on it! :) There were other cute similar options on Forever 21 as well, such as "I love the DJ" and "I love the band", if those messages are more suited to you! :) 4.5/5 more under the link below!
I was a little disappointed with these! On the site they looked like very cute polka dot pants. apc overnight Although they were leggings, they didn't look really thin or too 'homely'. However in real life, the slightly shiny and stretchy material makes them resemble pyjamas a bit :( I think I could try to make them work however, if I pair it up with the right clothes and accessories! And the price is not bad.
(I apc overnight didn't take a pic wearing this because it's too hot!) The material is quite stiff and the fit itself quite tight, apc overnight overall making it slightly uncomfortable. I think someone with narrower shoulders than me might like it more. I think I would have to limit wearing this with sleeveless tops/dresses apc overnight as I wouldn't want to add extra material at the shoulders and sleeves, practically choking apc overnight my upper torso lol.
this apc overnight was a purchase for work! Acknowledging the fact that I often just do my boring white & black combo most of the time, I thought I might jazz it up with some interesting apc overnight contrast detail in the blouse apc overnight at least.
another buy for work! As my skirts vary between exciting shades of black to light grey, I thought I might inject some colour there (and it's been quite difficult for me to find work-appropriate coloured skirts!) This looks great with a white blouse and light or tan-coloured shoes to match the belt in the skirt. My only objection is that the skirt is a bit short on me, and with the way it is designed, when you walk you are only exposing more leg haha!
Luckily I like this haul a lot better than my Forever 21 haul, although in reality I could've just ordered from them directly to ship to Australia.
I was really, really pleasantly surprised when I tried these on! They were soooo comfy and smooth to touch. The difference in quality and fit was so noticeable compared apc overnight to some cheaper ones I have from Cotton On . Unlike those, these Nike Pro shorts don't ride up and have no chafing around the thighs.
The only downside (and I was kicking myself for not realising this earlier!) is that these are pretty short, and it would take a bit of confidence to actually run around in public in these :( I'd exercise at home in them but maybe one day I'd actually introduce these to the outside world :) they make these in longer material as well and I am super tempted to make another haul with the longer ones.
I highly, highly recommend paying a bit extra (and these didn't even cost that much! only $25 per pair) for a reputable brand and quality when it comes to exercise gear! Poor material can cause rashing, the lack of moisture-wicking properties can keep you drenched in sweat, and non-compression clothing won't help relieve muscle stiffness. These are really important factors to c

At the very least they should have given me an option to repack for a fee, but I think they make more profit first flight tracking on inflating the shipping charges than they do on repacking fees and actually being good to their customers.
used these guys 5-6 times.repack option has saved me $$S.They have always repacked(where possible) stuff into smaller boxes and they also tell you the difference before/after repack.Maybe you are referring to the "volumetric weight" they consider when handling large(and light) items. first flight tracking
here's what they charged me for a tshirt (weight was less than 200g including the 3 layers of packaging it was already in). they could have easily put this in an envelope, but instead first flight tracking packed first flight tracking it into a much larger box than was necessary (and charged me $5 for it)
So you ignore the fact that they charge a minimum weight first flight tracking right? " As per industry practice, shipping charges are made up to the first half kilogram, which is a flat fee. A charge applies for every additional half kilogram thereafter. " Also, even in Australia whenever i buy T-shirts the declared weight on the pack has never been under 500 gr. Check it out next time ;) P.s just checked rates at Priceusa: for a 200gr pack/ envelope(i highly doubt they will charge you only 200 gr for the t-shirt) they charge 14.7 USD via first class mail (16-21 days) and 34.48 USD via ups
instead, they put it in a box that was larger than necessary. this has happened to me twice. i can only assume they do this because this is how they increase their profits. there is an incentive for them to pack inefficiently, and little incentive for them to save their customers money.
USPS will charge based on weight down to the nearest 1 or 2 ounces. ie. a 85 gram international parcel will be slightly more expensive then a 56 gram international parcel, etc. USPS first class internation is great, especially considering how cheap it is. always gets to me in 2 weeks and comes with a basic tracking number.
I disagree! I have always had good outcome with UPS and Fedex. Last parcel sent on a Monday evening(AU time) and arrived Thursday morning. i always use them for "big" or multiple purchases and I'm happy with them. Even on my last DSE eneloop purchase the declared weight was 1kg so i repeat i higly doubt they would declare first flight tracking 200gr for a t shirt. first flight tracking Also keep in mind that every additional 1/2 kg is 4.80 USD express or 4 USD for standard delivery, so I wouldn't complain if for a $400 order(more than 30 items, baby clothing that would cost me $$$ here) i pay an extra $5 to HSG.
charging me $5 to repackage a 200g tshirt into a box with a 1kg volume is ripping me off. it came in an envelope from the retailer. the only reason for them to repackage it into a big box is to increase their profit.
here is where you are wrong! A 2 minute google search shows that priceusa has been giving wrong shipping cost estimates and then asking for more money due to the volumetric weight. Just look it up on Whirlpool. I personally haven't used priceusa yet and I have nothing against the company. I'm sure that every company has happy and sad customers but you can not generalise by saying HSG rips people off and priceUsa not !

I use boxhop. registered post I read quite a few reviews before joining one but in the end I joined boxhop because they had a special where you had free access to specials registered post for 12 months. I've used it a few times with no issues at all. Boxhopgo had a lot of bad reviews on a vogue forum when it first set up, but that was a long time ago. Most of the sites have a section where you can put in the dimensions of a package and estimate postage. I didn't really bother comparing sites on cost. I've found it costs around $27 for a basic parcel from boxhop. Delivery is quick.
I use HopShopGo and I've never had a problem. Communication has been good. Reasonably quick to respond. E.g if I want to shop sales that only go for 3 days, providing I order at the beginning, I've never missed a sale price. I mainly use their "buy for me" service. registered post They charge you 10% above the purchase price for them to buy for you instead of you buying with your own paypal or credit card and just using their US address. I've bought enough times that I get it for 7% instead of 10% and I get express postage free too. Their postage might be a bit on the pricey registered post side. I don't know. I'm waiting for 8kg of stuff to arrive and it cost me around $80AUD to post.

Macys Baby Gap and Gap Babys R Us - things I've found cheaper than here Nordstrom Check out online when the sales are coming. You can guarantee that the big stores will always have 4th of July Sales, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas sales. Great time to buy. The other good time is just before season changes. E.g if you notice they start bringing registered post winter gear into the shops here, look online in the US for end of season summer stuff for next year. I bought 2 DKNY winter coats from Nordtsrom that were originally over $300 each and I bought them for around $80 each and they are beautiful.
